India Benfield reigns as Little Miss Trinity; MacKenzie Freeman, Tiny Miss; Katelyn Heaton, Young Miss; and Ramsey Luther, Teen Miss.
The pageant, in its 27th year, is a fundraiser for the Trinity High School Athletic Booster Club. The pageant was held May 1 in the gym. Each queen won a $50 savings bond.
The pageant was highlighted with performances by the 2009 queens: Ali Johnson, Little Miss; Hailey Nance, Young Miss; and Hannah Welborn-Lewis, Teen Miss.
Other talent performances were by Kylie Holt, Emma Stone and Emma Holt as “The Chipettes,” Olivia Doane, Elizabeth Church and Jordyn Hill.
The pageant welcomed a host of visiting queens: MacKenzie Farley, Priscilla McCroskey, Reagan Davis, Olivia Doane, Paige Wainright and Kelly Christmas Kasey.
Little Miss
India Benfield earned the Little Miss crown. She is the daughter of Tim and Denise Benfield of Archdale and is a third grade student at Trindale Elementary School.
Kayla Flannery, first runner-up, is the daughter of Mike and Amy Flannery of Asheboro and is a third grade student at John Lawrence Elementary School.
Zoe Linville, second runner-up, is the daughter of Richard and Bridget Linville and a second grade student at Trindale Elementary School.
Gracelyn Allred earned the photogenic award. She is the daughter of Jeffrey and Sarah Allred of Archdale and is a third grade student at Archdale Elementary School.
Teen Miss
Ramsey Luther, Teen Miss Trinity, is the daughter of Heather Luther of Archdale. The Archdale-Trinity Middle School seventh grade student also won the photogenic award.
Rebecca McQuaigue, first runner-up, is the daughter of Connie McQuaigue and the late Kenneth McQuaigue. She is a seventh grade student at ATMS.
Megan Griffin, second runner-up, is the daughter of Rhon Griffin and Tracy Gregory of Thomasville. She is an eighth grade student at ATMS.
Tiny Miss
MacKenzie Freeman, crowned Tiny Miss, is the daughter of Jason and Kelly Freeman of Trinity and is a kindergarten student at Hopewell Elementary School.
In addition to the crown, she won the Spirit Award, presented to the contestant who sells the most program ads and tickets.
Carmen Kiziah, first runner-up, is the daughter of Jason and Ashleigh Kiziah of Trinity. She is a kindergarten student at Trinity Elementary School.
Carlee Macaluso, second runner-up and photogenic award winner, is the daughter of Anthony and Dawn Macaluso of Archdale and is a kindergarten student at Trinity Elementary School.
Young Miss
Katelyn Heaton wears the Young Miss Trinity crown. The Hopewell Elementary School fifth grader is the daughter of David and Tina Heaton of Trinity.
She also won the photogenic title.
Victoria Mauldin, first runner-up, is the daughter of Tammy and Greg Mauldin of Archdale and is a fifth grade student at Trinity Elementary School.
Miss Congeniality
Clair Barrow, the daughter of Todd and Angela Barrow of Trinity, won the congeniality award. She is a first grade student at Hopewell Elementary School.

The organizers of the Little Miss Trinity pageant, the Trinity High School Athletic Booster Club, thank the community for support of the annual event.
