The Bulldogs claimed first in the 10-team event with 211 points, followed by Glenn with 140.5 points, Western Guilford at 112.0 and Wheatmore a close fourth at 111.5.
Winners for Trinity were Anthony Chanthalacksa (103 pounds), Shane Stafford (125), Joseph Anders (130), Nick Vetell (152) and Cameron King (171).
Second-place showings came from Tyler Myers (112), Jeremy Shives (145) and Angelo Dunn (215), while three Bulldog grapplers Ryan Simmons (119), Teal Everhart (160) and Gant Shedden (189) placed third. The team dual record stands at nine wins and two losses.
The current and past Trinity grapplers presented Head Coach Kyle Spencer with a plaque to honor his 100th dual win on Nov. 24 against Millbrook High School. Spencer garnered the win in his fifth season as head coach of Trinity wrestling.
Trinity will compete today (Dec. 17) at home against High Point Andrews in the first conference match of the year.
On Saturday, Dec. 20, Trinity will be at Southeastern Guilford in the Falcon 10 duals.
