Welch Memorial United Methodist church will offer a Thanksgiving breakfast from 7 to 10:30 a.m. Nov. 26.
The cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children 7-12 and free for children ages 6 and under.
The menu includes eggs, grits, bacon, sausage, country ham, cooked apples, biscuits, jams and jelly, orange juice and coffee. Those who come are asked to bring a nonperishable food item for a food pantry.

Tree sale begins Nov. 27
Cloverdale Church of the Living God will sell Christmas trees beginning Tuesday, Nov. 27. The sale will continue through Dec. 19, or until all trees are sold.
Lot hours run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Prices start at $30.
Tree sizes range from six feet to eight feet.

Prospect United Methodist Church will hold a free fall festival from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28.

Concert, supper benefit Nov. 28
God’s House of Prayer-For His Glory Church of High Point will hold a singing and hot dog supper to benefit Alice Hale Turner.
The event will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, at Trinity Grange on Sealy Drive in Archdale.
Singers include Tim and Faye Maynard, Not Ashamed Singers and Land Beyond the Stars. Other groups also will perform.

Greenways to speak at revival
Fairview United Methodist Church will host evangelists Kenny and Deborah Greenway for revival services Sunday through Wednesday, Nov. 29 through Dec. 2.

Advent meals begin Dec. 2
New Covenant Lutheran Church will hold a series of Advent meals at 6:15 p.m. Wednesdays, Dec. 2, 9, 16 and 23. An Advent service will follow each meal.
The menu for the meals is soup and sandwiches.
The church will also hold two services on Christmas Eve. The first, a family service, will be held at 5 p.m. and a candlelight service will be held at 11 p.m.
