Here are the results of soccer games of the Grubb Family YMCA of Archdale-Trinity. The games are played at the YMCA and Guil-Rand soccer complex on Old Turnpike Road.

Sept. 28

Division 8U

Panthers 2, Strikers 2

Aiden Shean of the Panthers scored both goals. Coach McCroskey recognized Jackson Tuggle and David Proana for overall hustle and Jack McCroskey on defense. Scoring for the Strikers were Ben Owens and Harrison Moffitt. Coach LaPlante also recognized Garrett Moser on defense.

Division 11U

Tigers 3, Bulldogs 0

Randy Owens, Austin Webb and Jordan Knickerbocker scored the three goals for the Tigers. Coach Kim Spruill noted that Jordan Knickerbocker played a great game in the goal.

Despite their loss, the Bulldogs played a great game, with several goal attempts by Juan Pulido and Wyatt Garrison. Coach Roberts recognized Maddie Johnson on defense and Bryan Robert in the goal.

Division 8U

Bulldogs 1, Panthers 0

Sabrina Taylor of the Bulldogs scored the single goal of the game. Coach Graves recognized Evan Foster on defense and the whole team for great effort. Coach Clodfelter of the Panthers recognized Jake Clodfelter on offense and Jack McCroskey on defense.

Arsenal 2, Tornadoes 0

Kyle Livengood scored both goals for Arsenal. Coach Moran recognized Sarah Moran, Saige McDonald and Rachel Bolick for their teamwork on defense. Coach Wright of the Tornadoes recognized Tyler Moser for overall hustle and Rocky Lewis for his saves in the goal.

Noah Brown scored the goal for the Tornadoes and Ben Owens scored the goal for the Strikers. Coach Eaton of the Tornadoes recognized Connor Eaton on defense and Skylar LaPradd in the goal. Coach LaPlante of the Strikers recognized Christian Walker on defense and Austin Mincey in the goal.

Division 11U

Tigers 6, Hurricanes 1

Austin Webb led the Tigers to victory with four goals, followed by Randy Owens with two. Coach Kim Spruill recognized Austin Webb, Randy Owens and Carter Pollock for their overall hustle.

Austin Shives scored the shut-out saving goal for the Hurricanes. Coach Wall recognized Calvin Sowers in goal and Dillon Riffe for hustle.

Division 14U

Freedom 6, Hurricanes 1

Thomasville Y’s Freedom team won 6-1 over the Archdale-Trinity Hurricanes on Friday. Scoring for Freedom were Omar Cepeoa 2, Victor Finlay 1, Jake Finlay 1 and Ryan Schaffer 1. Coach Finlay noted the great team effort from the entire team.

Sam Becker scored the single goal for the Hurricanes. Coach Segers commented that they played a great opponent and had a tough first half, but came back to play ideally in the second half.

Division 8U

Tornadoes 5, Dragons 0

Tornado scorers were Connor Eaton 2, Noah Brown 2 and Skylar LaPradd 1. Coach Eaton noted that the whole team played a great game. Coach Owens of the Dragons recognized the entire team for good hustle.

Panthers 1, Strikers 1

Jackson Tuggle scored the tie-goal for the Panthers and Garrett Moser scored for the Strikers. Coach McCroskey of the Panthers recognized David Proana for excellent defensive play, Jake McCroskey for overall play and Reese O’Brien on offense. Coach LaPlante recognized Austin Mincey for his efforts in the goal.

Division 11U

Tigers 6, Arsenal 1

Randy Owens scored 3 for the Tigers, followed by Austin Webb 1, Ryan Smith 1 and Carter Pollock 1. Coach Kim Spruill recognized Randy Owens and Savannah Spruill for overall hustle. Kyle Livengood scored the shut-out saving goal for team Arsenal. Coach Moran recognized Jacob Hill and Brandon Mincey for their skills as goalkeepers.
