Four crowned in Little Miss Trinity Pagaent
The pageant opened with the National Anthem being sung a cappella by 2008 Little Miss Trinity Katelyn Heaton. The pageant was highlighted with talent performances by the 2008 queens, Zoe Linvale, Rebecca McQuaigue, Katelyn Heaton and Katherine Puryear, the reigning North Carolina Outstanding Teen who recently finished third at the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Pageant.
Other talent performances were by Jessica Holt, Little Miss Denton, and Morghan Stone, Little Miss Statesville Dogwood Queen, both from Denton. Jordyn Hill, a fourth grade student at Hopewell Elementary School, also performed. All are students at N2Danzn in Thomasville.
There were a host of visiting queens from throughout the area, including 2008 Miss Trinity Deanna Minor, former Little Miss Trinity queens, as well as Fall Festival queens from Asheboro, the Princess of Central Piedmont, Davidson County queens and the Carolina Princess for North Carolina’s Outstanding Teen.
Following the entertainment, the winners were announced.
Brianna Angelle Carroza was crowned Tiny Miss Trinity. She is the daughter of Mark and Susan Carroza of Trinity and is a kindergarten student at Hopewell Elementary School. Bailey Whiteford was first runner-up and Carlee Macaluso was second runner-up.
Carlee Macaluso won the photogenic award and Mirielle Shore was the congeniality winner for this group.
Ali Johnson was crowned Little Miss Trinity. She is the daughter of Cleve and Belinda Johnson of Archdale and is a third grade student at Trinity Elementary. India Benfield was first runner-up and Courtney Brown was second runner-up. Photogenic winner was Grace Allred, who also won the congeniality award.
Hailey Jordan Nance was crowned Young Miss Trinity. She is the daughter of Donnie and Jennifer Nance of Trinity and is a fifth grade student at Trinity Elementary. First runner-up was Victoria Mauldin and second runner-up was Abby Giles. Hailey Nance was the photogenic winner.
Hannah Welborn-Lewis was crowned Teen Miss Trinity. She is the daughter of Mandy Welborn-Lewis of Trinity and is a sixth grade student at Braxton Craven Middle School. First runner-up was Kaley Neal and second runner-up was Erin Hodges. Hannah Welborn-Lewis was the photogenic winner.
Other winners included Ramsey Luther, nonfinalist interview, and Drew Thompson, who won the Spirit Award.
Each of the queens won a $50 savings bond. The bonds were donated by High Point Bank, Bank of North Carolina, CommunityOne Bank and First Bank. The official portraits were donated by Memory Lane Portraits by Rhonda Lester and a free photo session was donated by Photography by Paige.
The Booster Club presented each queen with a crown, sash, crown pin, crown box, trophy and roses.
