RANDOLPH COUNTY — Charitable organizations focused on improving health in Randolph County have additional opportunities for grants this spring from the Community Foundation for Randolph County.
An additional $15,000 will be available through the new Randolph Health Community Foundation Endowment for programs and organizations devoted to improving health and wellness in the county.
The endowment fund was established last year and is advised by CFRC, the local affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation that is advised by Randolph community members.
Grants from the new fund nearly triple the annual impact of CFRC. Another $8,800 will be available from CFRC to non-profits serving a wide variety of community causes. Organizations must apply for CFRC grants using NCCF’s online application system. Applications open Friday, April 5, and close Tuesday, May 7, at noon.
